The real introduction to Gravel riding. An out and back across rolling farm country, this ride will show you some beautiful country side, expect welcome, grit, fun and a fantastic finish.

The Roam Energy Taster

Designed to introduce you to riding on gravel. The Taster is simply that, a taste of the adventure and community,

with less of the challenge.

Supporting someone else but still want to ride? This is for you.

Want to take the kids for a ride? This is for you.

46km, 500m Vert, 27% Gravel

1 Aid Station

Price $65 Not a race

Minimum age: 10yrs old on race day (under 15 accompanied by an adult) 

Aid Stations 

All courses have aid stations with a drop bag service, water, medics, toilets and some nutrition. 

All water stops have water, and caffeine if the day is getting on.

Taster / Snack: 1 Aid Station at 24km (Snack again at 54.9km) with 1 drop bag

Entree: 1 Aid Station 66km with bag drop,

1 Water stop 113km

Mains: 1st Aid Station 66km with bag drop,

Water Stop 121km,

2nd Aid Station 165km with bag drop,

Water Stop 211km

Drop Bags will be collected at registration with your race pack and need to be dropped at race briefing on race day ready to go. Bags will be transported to aid stations and returned to the finish village for you. 

​

Bag size: Think draw string bag for school swimming day.
