Key Points to Remember

Here is our final selection of advice to make this a reality for you!

  1. Registration is a must: Come sign on, collecting your kit from 3pm on Friday. NB: No Mains registration on Saturday. Saturday Entree registration opens from 7am.

  2. Fill your drop bags with the things you will need, paying particular attention to your nutritional needs. We have some snacks and goodies on course, but please do not rely on these.

  3. Attach your race plate to the front of your bike without bending, cutting or folding it. The number needs to be read, the timing chip needs to work too. Collect your race plate holder at Expo - special thanks to the team at A Bike Shop.

  4. Load and test your GPX file before the weekend

  5. Charge your batteries and make sure when you leave your bike on Friday night that the shifters are not trying to change gears, we have had a few flat batteries at the start line

  6. Aid Stations are there to help you out. All Mains and Entree riders must visit the Cannington Aid Station, passing over the timing mat. All Mains riders must visit the Cattle Creek aid station. This is for your safety.

Rubbish bins are provided at the aid stations, no littering anywhere on course!

  7. Keep the fluids flowing, it is looking like it is going to be warm on the day

  8. All roads are open, keep left, follow all the road rules, including giving way and stopping if the intersection requires it.

  9. Keep Left

  10. Two laps of the velodrome please!

  11. We have a small selection of merch available at the Expo. T shirts, socks, and Great Kiwi Gravel drink bottles.
